  • POS systems, terminals and monitors sold by Longshine Technologie GmbH are covered by a 3 year limited warranty when purchased under EXW Europe term and by a 2 year limited warranty when purchased under FOB Taiwan term, effective from the invoice date.
  • Peripherals and accesories sold by Longshine Technologie GmbH are covered by a 2 year limited warranty when purchased under EXW Europe term and by a 1 year limited warranty when purchased under FOB Taiwan term, effective from the invoice date.
  • When shipping an RMA to Longshine Technologie GmbH, please provide as many details as possible regarding the failure encountered.
  • RMA units sent back to Longshine Technologie GmbH, must be sent with the original package to avoid any type of damage. Longshine Technologie GmbH will not be responsible for damage incurred due to poor packaging.
  • Warranty void if the serial number is removed or tampered with.
  • Warranty does not cover any product or material returned with physical damage, evident mishandling, evident misuse, unauthorized modification, missing parts or improper packaging.
  • Longshine Technologie GmbH will exchange and replace any product if the failure is DOA (Dead on Arrival).
  • Product is considered DOA if the product shows symptoms of hardware failure in the first 14 days (FOB Taiwan) or 30 days (EXW Europe).
  • DOA claims must be made within 14 (FOB Taiwan) or 30 days (EXW Europe) of receiving the product.
  • If the failure is a result of improper use or abuse, the customer will be responsible for all material, labor and shipping cost.
Repairs out of warranty or misuse
  • Customer must send the unit back to Longshine Technologie GmbH for inspection.
  • Engineers will identify the failure and provide the customer with a cost estimate for the repair (materials and labor).
  • Customer can decide if Longshine Technologie GmbH should proceed with the repairs.
  • All material, labor and shipping costs are responsibility of the customer.
Extended warranty
  • Customers have the option of extending the 2 or 3 year limited warranty.
  • Please contact your sales personnel for details.
